Dzonny:
As a wiki is now our main source of documentation, we would like to se the community get more involved in localizing the docs.

Please take a look to information displayed on the Online Manual:Translation Portal page and try translating various wiki articles by following instructions provided there.

In this testing phase, we would like to hear your feedbacks on how to improve translating process. You can (and should) post all your suggestions, comments and questions in this board, or contact me or Relyana in order to help.

Note that there is a few Pages Ready for Translation right now, but we will let you know about new availble pages eventually.


* How can I join the online manual translation team?If you want to help translate the online manual, feel free to post a message in this topic and remember to provide us with the name you are using to login at the forum (not the display name).

SMF translators should have access to translate extension as well. Feel free to contact us if you have any problems about this.

* How to edit link text in wiki?For example, on Personal messages page, when translating you will see:

See the [ [Personal Message Options]] section of the [ [profile]].
--- End code ---
To change link text just use code like this:

--- Code: ---===Options===
See the [ [Personal Message Options|Link text]] section of the [ [profile|Link text]].

How to add a user to the group
* go to User rights management
* insert the nick of the user (SMF's login name)
* select the group "Translators"
* Save.
