Database ?

(1/1)

Steve_X:
Hello ,
Today , I've recieved this message from my host :

There has been a problem with the database!

This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues.

I don't know where to post this , but really confusing lol.

Orangine:
is the forum up? if no, are the details in settings.php correct? if so - it's a problem with the host

ziycon:
You'll get this error when SMF is unable to connect to your database, there can be numerous reasons, incorrect login credentials or database issues. If your forum was up and running ok then get onto your host and ask them to look into it.

mrintech:
Check error logs in the control panel your host provides :)
