[PAID/FREE] Limiting user posts in a board per week

I'm opening a trading forum, and I'm wanting to limit the amount of new topics people can make in a week per board. For example, I would like a regular member to be able to post a topic in the Collectible Card Games section selling his massive amount of cards, but I don't want him posting again in that section for another week, to prevent him posting the same thing every day to keep it at the top of the list. Having said that, if he also had some paintball gear to sell, I want him to be able to post that in the 'Paintball' board, but not post another topic in the 'paintball' board until a week after that has been posted. But in the "general chat" section, I want this user to be able to make as many topics as he wants in a week

I also want the functionality to change the time limits per member group, so regular members can only post in each board once a week, but premium members can post once every four days, for example. (I hope I'm making sense here.)

Now, I've already tried scouring the forums and Google, and the mod website, and I can't seem to find anything along these lines. So my question is this: Have I overlooked something that does this? And if not, would someone be willing to write the mod up for me? I can offer payment, but I'm not sure how much would be a reasonable offer for this as I'm new to the whole mod thing. If anyone could advise or if the person who is willing to make this mod can offer me then that would be great.

The forum is running the latest version of SMF (2.0.2).

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I need to be able to change the post restriction limit for each membergroup.

For example,

I need regular members to only be able to start new topics every seven days, as above (Which you said you understand)

I then need the premium membergroup's limit to be every 4 days rather than 7 in each board.

I then need advertisers and administrators/moderators to be able to start new topics as and when they want with no limit.

I also need the ability to turn this on and off per board - so a post in one board doesn't affect their ability to post in another, and in some boards members can start new topics as much as they want.
