Accidently Posted Private Key - Need to Purge Discussion Boards - HELP!!!

(1/1)

FLAMINGBIRD:
Howdy all. Needless to say I am a lost sheep in the Encryptation Forest with  PGP abd GPG trolls chasing me all over. I desperately need help escaping before I am ID'd.

While trying to learn how to use PGP software - I created a test key to use as I learned the process, with the intent if deleting it and creating a new, anonymous key or actual use once I had the system down.

Well one day I accidently posted my Public Key insted of my Private one, which was linked o my RL email account for all to see. I know - brilliant,

My question is what is the next step in protecting myself? Once I realized what I had done, I deleted the Message Board username and the associated key. How do I purge any/ all messages in the message board history? It is still possile to oull up my old posts, including the one with my sensitive info. Is there any way? I really don't wantmto sacrifice my SR vendor name as it is established with regulkar customers etc.

Anyone enlightend?

live627:
Create a new member, re-attribute the old posts, when you delete the new member, there should be an option to delete all member's posts.

FLAMINGBIRD:
How do i reattribute a post?

nightbre:
Go to Admin > Forum Maintenance > Members  and you will see where you can reattribute to the user there.
