I want to open index.php and I was told that notepad would work when editing php files but when I open it everything did not turn out right. My question is how can I reverse what I did or open .php file the correct way?

Shambles:
Much preferred by many, is NotePad++ which will recognise the php content and present it in a format that you'll like  8)

If you've already got Notepad opening up by default for php files, hold down the shift key when you right-click the php file, then select "open with.." to select NotePad++

technickle:
Notepad++ is that a software already install with window or do I have to download it?

Shambles:
The link is in my post.

First, you have to download it.

Then, you have to thank me  ;)

technickle:
