modify color of default core theme

Hi

I have installed SMF 1.1.16
with default core theme

and I want to change the color of this theme into black background
and a kind of yellow text

could you please tell me if it's possibile and which file I should modify?

Very possible. It's a matter of editing Themes/default/style.css accordingly as well as editing some images, like in the menu for example. I suggest using Firefox/Firebug or a similar browser/tool combination to inspect the elements and tweak the CSS accordingly. Give it a whirl.

one is called off.gif
another one on.gif

but they are not into css file
