[4178] Wrong votes count
bobybc:
I've just updated my board to 2.0.2, hoping that the problem is fixed, but it still persists
As you can see from attached screenshot, the sum of votes in this pol is wrong 101+55 != 154
This happens in some other polls , that i checked
All of them have the following options:
Maximum votes per user = 1
Allow users to change vote: disabled
This is very painful issue as forum members consider this as manipulation

i've just found on another 1.1.x forum that the same problem exists :

Chas Large:
The answer is quite simple. Member numbers have changed during the time of the poll.
Here is an example. A test forum set up with three members.
All three voted for one of two options, thus giving 33.33% and 66.66%
One member was deleted and the poll now shows only 2 members have voted but the number of the votes and percentages reflects that three votes were cast. See attachment.
A similar thing happens if you let Guests vote in a poll. Their votes don't count in the members voted numbers because their are not members but their votes affect the number of votes and the percentages.
bobybc:
I don't think that the time when poll was open a member was deleted
Anyway
Would you consider fixing this ? I mean when a user is deleted, to clear his poll records
bobybc:
i've just checked smf_log_polls - there are 123 records
one of them has id_member = 0 - how can this happen? the poll is not allowed to guests
is this a result from deleting of a user?
