"Hello User" section missing

Was hoping someone could help me with this.
When I access the forum, I can't see the section which says "Hello [username], Show unread posts since last visit" etc.
I.e.: Left image is from this forum where it works fine, right is from my forum


It is working on other users' accounts, and this happens on both my computer and my mobile, and on another computer when I'm logged in.  Any ideas how I can get it back? I use the 'View unread topics' option quite a lot, so it's a pain!

Ok, now I feel a bit stupid - just found the option to hide/show the header on a section of the forum I don't go on as much, but has a different layout  :-[ :-[ Guess I've fixed it!

Hmm, a user/moderator on our forum is having this problem.

Does anyone know where this command is located?

It depends on your theme, but here it's the ^ just to the right of the word "development" at the very top right of the screen.
