Weird behaviour member ID's
HunterP:
Hi there,
Recently started a new SMF (2.02) forum and noticed something odd in the member-id's.
These are all active member ID's (none have been removed, yet)

As you can see, SMF always seems to skip one, the only exception is 8 and 9.
Does anyone recognize this?

I haven't seen it before, do you have any mods that deal with registration that may be doing this?
Also there is a setting in there to allow members to delete their own account, may of deleted their own or not.
However going to need more information as this is not a typical SMF behavior.

Ooh, I like how it prefers odd numbers! It would be even cooler if all member IDs were primes! :D
Hey, I wonder if there's a way to do that.... ;)

It's a new install and have only a few mods which I installed a few days after I started the forum and at that point I already noticed this behaviour, so in my humble opinion no mods could be causing this.

The member id is auto increment, what type of database do you have and any special setups on it?
