Forum Almost Complete - Two Quick Questions

(1/3) > >>

designer2012:
Hi

I have everything else done but there are two things, the general text across the forum is arial as it should in FF but in IE it looks like Times or similar, the index.css has all the fonts set to:

font-family: arial,verdana,sans-serif;

http://tinyurl.com/8sgfkqw

So there is no obvious reason for it, well at least not to me.

The other thing is in admin when you click on the help? I can't read the text because it is the same colour as the background, anyone know where to change this.

One I have these 2 things sorted I can officially launch the forum, phew ;)

PersianDeveloper:
I used to changes the fonts in the  index.css file
there are two more .css files in the same folder, something like IE7.css ,etc

have you tried changing them?

designer2012:
Hi

I changed them in the default themes index.css also and it's made no difference.

There are no font tags set in ie6 and ie7.css

  :-\

I am using IE9 and as I say it looks like times

PersianDeveloper:
Honestly
I had the same problem
changed the index.css fonts, didnt work
but after a couple of hours
it was ok
I am not sure what was the reason since I also empties the IE cach cookies etc
but it was OK

if there is no more comments by SMF pros
just give it some time ;)
