406 error
hhhoagie:
one of my members gets a 406 error when trying to upload an attachment.
This error (HTTP 406 Not Acceptable) means that this program was able to receive information from the website you visited, but the information was not in a format that it can display.
His browser is AOL. Is it settings in his browser (I know nothing about AOL) or is there something I can do in my settings?
I'm using v2.0.2

I would suggest that you get the user to try using another more common browser like Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari or Opera and see if they still get the same error, if not then you know it's a browser issue and not you're forum/website.
K@:
Ask your host to disable mod_security.
That should fix it. :)
MrPhil:
One common cause of a 406 is a browser configured to demand only one specific language or encoding (that your site cannot provide). Can your member look at that possibility? AOL is a pretty much a niche browser, so it could be set up strangely but is so rare that most sites would never see such a problem.

I may have narrowed it down???
The member was posting a .jpg of size over 3500KB. I had another member post a picture that large and she got an error but the picture did post. She was using IE as her browser.
Any thoughts on that being the problem?
I have my board set to unlinited size, 0 in that field.
