Happy Fathers day !

My father, if he's still around, is a complete arse. Odd as it may seem, I'm kinda jealous of people who, like Pete, had a good relationship, with theirs. Be happy that you had what you had, rather than mourning the loss of that. Better to have loved and lost, and all that. :)

However, I got my first-ever card, for this, today, from my step-daughter.

She wanted to thank me for everything I'd done, for her, over the years.

I let her know that I appreciated everything she's done, for me, too.

She probably hasn't even realised that she's done anything, too, which is kinda cute.
