I just set up 2.0 and noticed that it can be set not allow multiple registrations from the same computer.

? is this based on cookies or in IP.

I've never seen that happen.. I mean I've registered several times on my test forum, all at once, and I've never been stopped (I must be special?).

You can register members through the administration center if you like.
