A question about post previews (maybe portamx related)

I have tried to minimize the amount of clicking and navigation required for new members, plus old members and have came up with the perfect configuration (in my eyes) to get straight to the point regardless of status and am running into one issue that is really starting to irritate the hell outta me.

Basically Im using Aeva mod, plus portamx on my  SMF 2.0.1 site.  Ive got the forum setup, frontpage setup, and permissions set the way I want, but the main issue im having is when i try to embed videos (basically a Multi-Boards block) it looks how I want it, but when you click the image (or preview) from the front page and starts the video, but also opens a preview window (ive been able to determine its the HighSlide. . . i think) that enables this preview. . . but I dont want the preview post to open (the white background to popup in the middle). . . I just the video to play on the front page unless they click "Read More" to actually go to the post.  I have searched and searches. . . and feel like this is a common issue that should be easily fixed if only I knew exactly what to look for.

I apologize if this is an easy fix, but ive searched every combination of words I could think of to narrow it down, and figured it wouldn't hurt to just flat out ask (stupid question or not).

playing inline is a whole 'nother set of coding and is not an "easy fix".

AEVA uses highslide to load and play the videos and to display the full-size images because what is included in the "preview" is just a thumbnail/snapshot and is not the actual video or image.

What your asking for is actually a fairly major re-write.
