In my Control Panel, I have a tick beside "Allow guests to browse the forum" as we want Guests to be able to browse and then register but I don't wish that they can post a message but it seems that they can.

Would someone please let me know where I can tick to refuse them permission to post a message but still browse?

Go to Edit Permissions and click on "Modify" next to "Unregistered Guests".... then take away their "Post" permissions ;).
