'Session' errors when logged in as adm

I have just installed the newest release and keep getting the following errors when I attempt to change settings as well as logout:

- Session verification failed
- Your session timed out while posting

In addition, SMF keeps aksing for my password when I access in of the settings Administration Center.  I can usually get to see the settings but will be asked for my password again upon trying to save changes after which I get one of the ' Your session timed out while posting' error.

I am somewhat of a newbie at all this.  I successfully installed SMF 1.0 Beta 4 a week ago and it worked fine so I am thinking it might be something in Beta 5 that's causing the trouble.

I have also looked at similar post but so far nothing has worked.

When you upgraded to Beta 5, did you upload all the files?

Please close all browser windows, and try everything again.  If this does not help, please ask yuor host to look into PHP's sessions and make sure they are working properly.

I installed everything from scrath.  Beta 4 was working with no problems so I though that my PHP sessions were working OK.  What exactly should I ask them?

If Beta 4 was working fine, it would probably help to, as I said, close all browser windows (perhaps even restart your computer and delete cookies.) and try again.
