Forum name help

My hosting serviced offers auto installs and i choose SMF, however for some reason when i try to edit information about the forums name, it tells me that the file for it is read only, what do i do about that?
BTW the file thats read only is settings.php

EDIT: NVM was looking at some older posts and found out i needed to CHmod the file, remove please.

Your best of installing SMF manually, the auto installer might be installing an older version of SMF.
Installing SMF manually is better, because you no it's safer.
