Attachments won't work on site - getting error

There's a problem. I am getting this error when trying to do attachments:
"Cannot access attachments upload path!"

Did you verify the attachment path is valid in the administrative area?

No...how do I do that? ^_^;;

The attachments folder was uncreated, so I just created it.
