"Home is online" function -need help quick-

okay so the only information i have about it is:

To use this on your own website, simply copy and paste this piece of HTML onto your page:

<div id='home_status'></div>

If you know what you’re doing, you can instead choose to include the status.js line in your website footer, to increase your website’s rendering time slightly.

Note: your website needs to be using jQuery for this to work. Most websites like WordPress sites already have this installed. If not, use this line just before the status.js one:

any idea where to put one of those /those codes  to install te "Home is: {green dot} online function? i really need this added to my site :L

Hello there.

You should add your code in Themes/your_theme/Index.template.php file, if you need it to be included at every page load, or in some other template file depends of where you want that output to be shown.

i want it to be on the main menu bar that says:
"July 23, 2012, 04:23:17 AM Hello Lava333 | Show unread posts | Show new replies"
on every page
theres a'lot of space between the RSS icon and the "Hello Lava333"
