That has actually always been an issue, even with the original mod. I had to modify many questions to reduce the question length.

The question_text field (in the db) is limited to 255 characters. That would most likely be the reason.
In fact there isn't any warning that the filed is limited.

Is it too short?

I too have come across many quizzes with cut off questions.  255 is too short.  512 probably should be the minimum.

I think 512 - 1024 characters is a good choice for the questions length.
@ Emanuele with the display the special characters is any process?

At the moment no, for this 1.1 I just fixed the most important (and easy :P) things.
This is in the to-do list for the next version along with few other localization-related issues.

Okay, here we are.

davejo kindly provided a package with all the quizzes he already provided in the past this time in the new xml format (so that you can easily import them in your forum) and subdivided in 28 packages.

Please note that neither me nor davejo wrote these quizzes, they where originally uploaded to the website smfmodding.
They can contain errors, if you find any feel free to post here the updated quiz or the correct answer.

The files are zipped, you have to decompress them, otherwise the mod wont be able to read the file! ;)

If you want to provide a pack of quizzes or even a single quiz, feel free to attach it to a post here or to a new issue at bitbucket, in both cases I'll take care of uploading it to the wiki.

Sorry that I am only now back in touch.
So I'm just not on.

New version is installed and the old removed completely.
A league I've also been created. Still, I get just no indication at the quiz and the quiz will not start.

Down here on the first picture you can see how it looks when the popup opens.
In the second picture you can see how it looks when you click on Start Quiz.

I hope it can help someone.
Is it because I use the German rather than English as the default?
The Mod Quiz I only do not even translated.

Maybe is this the problem, i have used my own language characters (hungarian). Without hungarian characters works perfect.

Have you special characters in your quiz? (I have the same problem, go back to the page 27)

I upgraded to the new version, and now all quizzes hang and will not load.
I don't have fancybox installed, so what else could it be clashing with?

Just uploaded, no errors until i was directed to what i thought would be the admin screen for it, instead i got a parser error, i then went back and it was installed....but no admin to install quizes etc...???

Anyone?

Have now found the admin section..was looking in the wrong place...this is what i get when i click on it..

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/content/c/r/u//html/theforum/Sources/SMFQuizAdmin.php on line 2138

I am running PHP5

ok sorted that one by upgrading to 5,2, now i get the dreaded "you have already played this quiz......." although people on here have mentioned it...cant see a solution..

Okay, quick fix: replace the SMFQuizStart.php with the one attached here.

Tested only quickly, it should fix the "You have already played this quiz over the maximum amount of times allowed" problem for quizzes.

That's not entirely true...you are the first that has reported he is not able to start any quiz.

Just look at the last page and you will find a screenshot from Sabrinova of a working installation.

So, what is your configuration?
