permission to guests for attached enabled but it does not work

I decided to allow guests to see attachments. i found in admin the guest groups, checked the view attachment, logged out but could not see the attachment. Is there any other setting that might cause this problem?
I have refreshed firefox cache, forum cache and checked with opera. I checked on reports and guests are allowed to see attachments.
I use also the ila mod for attachments.
Any ideas?

The board had different permissions so i had to check that permission too.  :-X :o
