Mod To Hide Email Addresses From Members

Hi
I have the forum set to Do not reveal contact details of members to guests and Allow Visible Email Addresses unchecked, but I want to keep all email addresses from being visible to other members, I know members can set in their profiles whether to display their email addresses. It is important to me however that email addresses are not displayed to anyone other than to the member themselves and admin.
Can anyone advise me how to do this?

If there is no mod for this, can the code itself be modified? Basically the members of my forum will also be members of the main site and I don't want anyone to see their email addresses for security of the main site.
If this mod doesn't exist, could anyone write it for me?

The default setting in SMF 2.0 is to hide e-mail addresses to everyone except the members them selves or the Admin team.
It sounds like that is what you have set. How is it that you suspect that members can see other members e-mail addresses?

That is what I have set but in the members profile if they check the box to allow other members to email me, then my setting is overwritten, and as I say it is very important that no email addresses are visible. And as you know when one member emails another there is a note next to the senders email saying Note this will be visible to the recipient.
It's a tough one, because I want members ti be able to communicate with each other but want to keep bothe parties email addresses hidden/private. I don't know if this is even possible, just thinking out loud, really :)

Re highlighted text, this can only occur is all your members are Admins or Moderators, Normal "Regular" users cannot change another member's profile settings. Perhaps you've mistakenly given them more Admin right than you should have in a Member group profile? Serious privacy issues here methinks! :o
