Is there a way to send all recent posts to an email address?

I presume this is mod territory, I have searched there and not found anything.

Ideally send an email of the latest x posts or even on every post if the x posts is not possible.

Anyone got any ideas?

That would be a very specific mod. I can't think of a scenario that would require this? What do you need it for?

We currently have a Mailman mailing list. We are trying to get users to migrate to SMF and are struggling and getting complaints that they don't want to change. One solution I thought of would be to just push the title and maybe the first few words of each new post to Mailman via email and that would then force them to go to SMF to read and reply to the entire post.

Thinking about it some more what would be ideal is on each new thread to push to Mailman rather than each new post. I had thought about using RSS but as it is a member only forum with no guest access that wouldn't work.

Any other way of doing what I want?

Just over 2500 on the mailman list but not getting that many use the SMF forum at the moment.
