Convert from myBB to SMF?

I literally just created a forum and have about 18 users or so registered.  I've worked hard setting the boards up but realized how much myBB is terrible.  I've heard that I can convert my database to SMF and I've already downloaded the convert.php but I'm confused on what to do from here.  I've made a full .sql database backup too.  Am I on the right track here?
