Ovviamente senza aver avuto la possibilità di testare la traduzione su un SMF funzionante molte cose sono tradotte letteralmente e verranno modificate in seguito in base al contesto.

Le cose più opinabili:
Child Board ----> Board Appendice, mi sembra buona ( Board Figlia  :-X )
Parent Board ----> Board Principale

ho ritenuto di poter tradurre Topic come si fa in altri software ( es. PhpNuke ) con Argomento, ma mi sembra che in alcuni casi stoni veramente ( Oggetto dell' Argomento ?, blah bisogna analizzare caso per caso ) .

Did you make use of this? www.yabbse.org/community has an italian language environment online. You can register there, change your language to italian and check some words. Of course in the SMF language file there are new options which are not yet there, but a lot you will find there. You can also download the italian.lng file for yabb se on www.yabbse.org/download.php. Many text is already translated in there.

However, it is important that you not assume that just because the same thing was in the YaBB SE language file it means the same thing.  Many strings were changed very slightly, and even those subtle changes are important.

The problem is another ( in fact i've got no problem ).

I have already  the possible translation and more of the SMF terms. Simply some words were never translated in SE ( or Gold ). This is a decision that can be taked only between italian user: should we translate the words never translated ( and how ), or the old way is good ?

frankly I would take the first chance, but if there's no other italian user, who decide ?
I' m not berlusconi to decide by myself.

edit: i've not copied nobody's language file, what i've sended was brand new. as i've wrote in the mail if you give me a functional SMF, I'll give you the perfect translation, till then there will be ( or not, maybe ) some little context errors ( which are indipendent by the quality of my job ).
