I use SMF 1.1.16

my members ask me few settings, but I cannot find them inside the admin area.

first of all, I would like that when a member makes a post, he will be automatically redirected to that topic.
I have see the function somewhere but I cannot find it now.

second, my members want to have to opportunity to look others members profile and watch which thread or topic they visit.

I'm sure there is a function like that but I cannot find it.

For the first thing you can

Admin -> Current Theme -> Reset Options -> Reset all members' current options for this theme -> Return to topics after posting by default.

viewing profiles is a thing with permissions and for the last thing it requires code modification,for this you can post in Mod Requests Board
