SMF/wordpress broken links to forum

Hello everyone, my first post here.


So i used http://support.simplemachines.org/function_db/index.php?action=view_function;id=515 to pull recent topics from forum and show them in widget area (wordpress). Everything works fine localy, (there i have fresh isntall of SMF, nothing touched in settings, just added few topics). Links from widgets to forum topics are working properly, to user profiles too.

Now when i moved to deployment server links to topics are "broken" but links to profiles are working. On server i don't have any access to forum cuase another guy is working on it.

This link works localy  .../forum/index.php?topic=7.msg8#new but on forum it doesn't.

Oh ******, i just figured out why is not working (while i was writing this post). Looks like permalinks are configured differently localy and on  deployment server. This is how it looks on server for example .../forum/news-and-updates/4/dotatalk-steam-group/8/

What should i do?

I was right. I solved this by creating custom link.
