Topic: Featured Post on SMF theme

i wish to have Featured Posts before my main forum board. i attached a screen shot on how i want it to be. Please if there any plugin? or is there any way to make it look like that through EDIT . i need like 20 Featured Posts b4 my main forum board . thank you. Please no Simple Portal suggestions cos i dont need it. i prefer my forum theme

If you don't want to use a portal, then you are going to have to create or edit your own template.  You can call some things such as recent topics or posts using SSI http://www.simplemachines.org/community/ssi_examples.php

thanks but is there anyway to convert recent posts into featured post???
