...when I click that link, I'm shown all "unread posts since last visit" - with the yellow folder, as if they were my posts/I had posted in them.

Søren's right and it shows all new replies with yellow folders whether or not you've posted in the topics.

Yep, same here. It gives me the exact same results at "show unread replies since last visit", except it has open yellow folders instead of closed blue ones.
