Looked great Bloc, sry u didnt get time :(
Bloc:
Well..it was implied, and its also my goal: ViennaBBS might be history, but it does live on at Blocweb. As long as that site updates with new things, you can be sure it is getting nearer something useful.

Good to hear bloc, always impressive.
ahrasis:
That's one way of doing it. Great to hear that Bloc.

It will be interesting to see how SMF is approached in the future.
Sure SMF as we know it may not exist. But essentially it may not be too different to the basic SMF consumer as I am sure there will be bundles that package the SMF module with smCore in an installer.
I think perhaps the smartest thing to do for smCore is to not give it too much attention to the core SMF audience. That is, don't make the average consumer see the new SMF as merely a module. Usually when I think of a "blog" module or "forum" module for some software base such as a CMS I usually think of an incomplete solution that lacks common features. Sure we can say that SMF has been redesigned from the ground-up (hence a major version number bump). But the average SMF admin probably won't care so much about the capabilities of smCore. I see smCore more for the developers. As a great platform to develop on, a web framework of sorts.
So to summarize, I think it is crucial that SMF is still as easy as ever to install. A bundled installer that includes/installs the SMF module and smCore at the same time. And that smCore is pushed on the web-developers. Probably most people currently using SMF should mainly just think "Oh a new shiny SMF!". Not "What's this? SMF is now just a module for some 'core', sounds complicated."
