Hey everyone, I couldn't pinpoint the correct place for this question, so I chose here. I downloaded a mod called "6 custom buttons/tabs and menu's." I thought this would be really cool since I'm having trouble with creating button links in HTML. The download and setup went smoothly. I then filled out the info to add a new button and it worked! Except, I can only see the button when I'm logged into my admin account... So when someone is visiting my site, I'd like to have the button that brings it back to my real website, not the forum. Any suggestions? I didn't know if it was a setting or something, I also looked into the settings for the mod but nothing was listed...

Not entirely familiar with the mod, but what you are describing sounds like a permissions issue. Does each new button or the entire mod itself require permissions to view it? I imagine it does. Look in the Permissions area.

Just checked the parser. The mod makes edits to ManagePermissions.php and ManageSettings.php.

So, Mashby's suggestion is about right, I reckon. :)

Also, for future reference - if you have questions on any specific mod, there is a support thread for each and every mod available here on simplemachines.org! It is linked to from the download page for each mod....
