yes.

we can do it in css, but in some navegators transparency didn't see.

Looking your site, you have 56 html errors.
And also your css3 properties like border-radius, only work with safari and other browsers, because you are only using -webkit-border-radius:

Buff, prefiero hablar español pero bueno.

I didn't have time to repair this errors. When i can, i'll repare it and i'll repost the theme in simplemachines.
