Site slow with Safari 6 and Mountain Lion?
Kindred:
hmmm.... may be something in the gallery?
I see two problems on that page:
display: scroll; is not valid
--- Code: ---#sys_myspace {
display: scroll;
background-image: url(../images/sys/myspace.png);
background-position: 0px 0px;
width: 40px;
height: 40px;
text-decoration: none;
}
--- End code ---
However... more importantly (for your potential issue)
--- Code: ---Timestamp: 8/8/2012 11:52:11 AM
Error: Image corrupt or truncated: <unknown>
Source File: <unknown>
Line: 0
--- End code ---
Something is definitely wrong with the page (actually, that error appears on every page on your site)
So, it looks like FF may see the error and then ignore it... Safari may be trying to resolve the error....

Interesting, thanks!
How would I go about resolving such a error?
Could this error have anything to do with hosting?
ApplianceJunk:
I ask about it being a hosting thing because I think it started happening just before I was asked this by our host.

Not knowing what nginx was I asked and was told...
--- Quote ---We equipped the servers with it yesterday, it should provide better load speeds, especially with images and other static content.
--- End quote ---
Maybe just a coincidence too, but thought I would add that tid bit of info incase it was helpful.
Yoshi:
Your site is slow for me, too, on Google Chrome. Not sure if it's that I'm far away from our router (still half connection strength), but it loads slow. Win7 with GChrome.

Yoshi2889 thanks for checking.
Seem ok to me in FF and Google Chrome right now, but the Safari thing is something that has been bugging me for weeks. Even before the last Safari update it did not seem right.
Even using FF as my default browser for the last few days I have notice posting a replay at times seem slow along with other little things, but it's not been to bad.
As time goes on though I hear from more members about the site being slow. I ask for details from them as to what browser they are using, but most don't reply back with any details for me.
Maybe with the errors Kindred found I can find a solution, just don't know were to start.
Thanks,
