Custom URL Templates for PMs

I've noticed that the link to PM someone is in the following syntax: /index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=457

where the 457 is the user's ID#. This pre-fills the person into the "To" section so you don't have to type in their name to send a PM.

My question is.... is there some variation on the URL syntax that allows me to pre-fill the subject line and body of the PM as well? My goal is to create a post with links that I can click on to send PM's to people for easy notification purposes.  I know I can copy and paste from a saved file, but just trying to save as much time as I can. Thanks!

Not really, just seeing if a URL can be designed to add more specs beyond the user ID.

Right, I see what you're saying now.

A clickable icon which opens up a new PM window, with various bits and bobs prefilled, is not what you want. Check.

Rather, a link that contains the entire message - with subject - that gets sent to the target member with no further interaction from you? Check.

Like this:

 /index.php?action=pmNow;u=457;subject=NowHereThis;message=StrikeAlight

If so, it would get kinda messy creating the URL: that in itself would need some kind of prompting system (bit like a PM text box) to get the subject and message body in it.

How do you see the URL you're after being formed? It's kinda interesting this, innit  8)

A prompting system is not what I want, but your sample URL in blue is exactly what I would want.
