I am unable to attach certain images in a post. It throws out the following error :

--- Quote ---Your attachment has failed security checks and cannot be uploaded. Please consult the forum administrator.
--- End quote ---

I have disabled security checks in attachment settings...then too same issue. I guess, it is not reflecting in the database. If anyone know the table and entry in database for this function, please do guide me to rectify it.

Hi, even though you have security checks disabled, there still is a check run on all images.

What sort of images are being rejected? Are they Photoshop images? Which version SMF?

If you tick the box to re-encode the images, that should get them to pass that check.

It is a photoshop image in Jpg format....SMF version is 2.0.2

Have you tried ticking the box to re-encode the images in the attachment settings?
