New to the forum but have been reading for a long time.

I'm interested to have 3 domains that share one forum.  The full forum will be available on one site and partial displayed on the other two sites.  Is this possible and how do I go about making it work?

Can this mod be used with multiple domains or only for sub domains sharing different parts or all of a forums boards?

example:
carforums.com
toyotaforums.com
and nissianforums.com

not

yes, that is possible .. but only, if the domain not assigned to a webspace or folder...

How are the user rules worked out.

In my situation I require a few subdomains.atthemaindomain.com to have forums
the idea is that they can sign up members and have a fully functional forum
but also that they could be members atthemaindomain.com
however members of subdomain1.atthemaindomain.com should not be able to see or login
to subdomain2 or subdomain3.atthemaindomain.com or trice versa.

So my forum is for several subforum organizations that require a common ground but should not be able to explore the others (sub)forums.

Does this achieve my goals I have been looking at these types of features for this purpose for over a decade. Many do this each with different pros and cons, Mods and hacks.

Any advice? I checked out the github repo and will try that...when I have some time, but I hope to save time with some guidance on the best way to achieve this soon.
