I have SMF up and running on localhost

I am probably going to be starting my own forum, and have been reading comments here to try and get a feel for SMF.  It all seemed simple enough, so I downloaded it, extracted it, and now have it running on my local machine.

So far so good.  If all goes well, I will transfer it to a low price, low volume server.

I think a few hosts charge $5/month, but I can't remember the names.

Be careful of the "unlimited" low-price vendors. You are likely to have tons of problems on them because of their business practices.

Thanks for the advice.  Any suggestions on a good beginner host?  I think starting out I shouldn't need anything to fancy.
