Woops, that was what I was going for there. I think in some cases something is stored in Avatars though...

Yes, the avatars bundled with SMF, as I said. No user-uploaded avatars are stored there and for security reasons should never be.

Actually the same  profile  picture is displaying in login area, but not in profile area, I checked the permissions and path..seems Ok!
