Forum emails now go into spam! :(

Hey, I noticed now that the emails my software sends out now go into the spam folder with hotmail.

Unfortunately I had a bit of an over-zealous moderator who sent one too forum many emails out.  I'm just wondering if theres a way to get it back to going into the normal folder.

Looks like hotmail thinks your mail server's IP is spam. Not much you can do.

Yep this is a hotmail issue more than an smf topic.

Therefore have moved to Chit Chat.

Add the sender e-mail to your address book. I believe any e-mail from an account in your address book will bypass the spam filter. Well, unless Microsoft broke things again.

Hotmail is also notorious for dropping valid messages by accepting them from the sender but never delivering them. I wouldn't suggest using their services for important purposes.
