You are using SMTP for sending Emails? and one/more of your community members have an invalid Email Address. E.g. abc@gmal.com

I am not 100% sure, but this might be problem with DNS/MX Entries ???

Have a look in the SMF mail queue - see if it's getting tied up retrying one particular entry
