PS3 - Bulky or Slim?

Thats the way my friend got backwards compatibility with his PS3 so late in the game. If you have a lot of PS2 games then look for that. If not then go for the slim.

This might be changing pretty soon. Sony submitted a new patent for an EXTERNAL adaptor that allows for backwards compatibility. At least you wouldn't have to have two systems hooked up. Just the PS3 with adaptor.

Also, the slim does use less energy.
The only thing that I don't like about my 320GB PS3 is the loss of USB slots and readers. My 20GB PS3 has the 4 USBs and my 80GB Metal Gear Solid Bundle had the 4 USBs and the three readers for SD, compact flash and memory stick. But, the 320GB MOVE Bundle that I bought was worth it for the game, Move controller, and Eye. (Of course, now I have an extra Eye to use with one of my other PS3's)

The bulkier ps3 makes queit alot of noise compared to the slim i think

Slim and it's not close. Much more reliable.

What are the differences between the regular PS3 and the PS3 slim aside from their measurements. Naturally, I'd prefer the slim, but I wanted to check back with you PS3 owners if there are any quirks to the slim that should have me change my mind. Thanks in advance! ;)
