Problem with post count...
BGH:
Hello to all,
I think I made a big mistake: I created a new sub-forum with post counting disabled, but it was intended to be an "archived posts forum" with containing only locked threads. But the problem is that when I moved all my threads to that new sub-forum, because i set to no post count, all the members post count reduced, mine being very affected (from more than 3000 posts, I just have 1912 now :().
I don't have a backup, so it's there any way to revert this?
Thanks in advance!
Colin:
Does changing the board settings to have posts add to the post count revert this? I am not sure -- I am guessing you have already tried. Secondly does your host have a backup for you? It might be worth asking.
Ricky.:
Well, as colin said, try to revert and make that board post count based and then from maintenance, go to routine and recount forum totals and stats. Hope that helps, let us know.
BGH:
Thanks for your help guys, but didn't worked. I tried to revert it following the steps provided by Ricky., but it seems it didn't work at all, the post count remains the same.
Damn, it should be a way for doing this :(.

I myself had an issue with the member's post count a while back. Fixed it by using this mod
Hope it helps ;)
