Calendar not to display age
The Wizard:
Why go to such lengths? Because my users want this option.
I'm under no illusions that what I am asking for is more then I can pull off and so I was hoping to go with a simple check box that in the calendar settings that would just remove the age for everybody in the calendar.

I didn't take much offense at all. What I provided may not have been as elegant as a check box but would have worked. Arantor has provided a very reasonable and easy solution. Tell your users to NOT enter their year of birth and the calendar won't display their age but will still show their birthday. :)

Except that isn't what you've just asked for. You've just asked for it to be a preference in the user profile, something completely different.
I hope you figure out what it is you actually want and that someone is patient enough to figure it out for you.

Yes I agree that would be a nice solution, but there is a small problem - I have age oriented boards. You have to be over a certian age to view the board. So your birth date is required on my board.

And so, given that, is removing the age for all members acceptable/desirable? If so, make the changes provided.
