I totally forgot how to use IRC. The last time I used it was when I was on the team. Well not really forgot because I never really knew how to use it in the first place. I knew how to sign on and that was about it.

http://www.irchelp.org/irchelp/irctutorial.html there is enough on google. Signing on is all you need to know

I have not experienced trouble with connecting or staying online the past days, except for a reboot, if people that are having trouble could post a error message then it may be a bit of help, and also ofcourse which client you use.

For people using clients,
perhaps try port 7000 rather then 6667, I think this server supports it

according to my logs the server was up at the times you guys where posting this. I have yet to disconnect from the server for almost 2 days.

Edit,

I forgot the command to find all the server choices you got (there is like 3 or 4 servers that you can choose from to connect to this irc server).
But I found this:
* - Ports: 6660-6670, 7000, 9999 (SSL)

loopy.villageirc.net (or loopy.L48.net, NJ server)
shadowrealm.villageirc.net (Georgia (US) server)

I get the same, although loopy has seemed stable for quite a while now, but the irc.village address is flaky with me.

I always connect to loopy because I am only 40 miles from it
