Problem with text field when editor is switched from non-WYSIWYG to WYSIWYG

I don't know if this has already been reported, so please forgive me if it is.

When you are posting a new post with WYSIWYG turned off everything is okay. But, if you turn on the WYSIWYG editor the text field will freeze for few seconds. This will also happen if text field is empty. I tried this on 2 SMF 2.0 RC5 installs. This problem happens only in Firefox 3.6.14 and Internet Explorer 8.

Here's some additional informations:

    * Version(s) of SMF
          o SMF 2.0 RC5

    * Your Setup:
          o List any Modifications you have installed
                No modifications
          +
          o List any Themes you have installed
                Curve theme
          +
               
          o Are you using UTF-8?
               No.

    * Server Software:
          o Apache/IIS version?: Apache 2.2.14
          o PHP version?: 5.3.1
          o Database type and version: MYSQL 5.1.41

    * How to Reproduce this Error?:
          o Start a new post
          o Turn on the WYSIWYG

You can also Reproduce it on this site.

It's making an AJAX call, hardly surprising it freezes for a few seconds while it makes that call...

Yes, but it's happening only in firefox 3.6.14 and IE 8. It's fine in other browsers.

What other browsers have you tried?

Google Chrome and Opera.
