When someone bans their members, they restrict them from access to their forum. This is usually a result of violating the forum rules. The "Add New Ban" section is located in the "Ban List" section under the "Members" category. This is where administrators can ban forum members.

Expiration
Under "Expiration", choose when the ban is lifted and the member being banned (the banee) will regain access to the forum. To ban members for only a number of days, select "Ban Will Expire After ___ Days" and enter the number of days the ban should last in the space provided.

Restriction
Under "Restriction", choose whether or not the banee should receive a full or partial ban. If choosing partial ban, select what the banee cannot do.

Triggers
Under "Triggers", choose what the banee should be banned on; IP, Hostname, Email Address, or username.
