Error with Pretty URLs

Ah, silly me!

It worked, but the 'test' links (when I try to rewrite) all give me 404 Not Found errors.

Make sure you uploaded. htaccess file or have one created. in the root of your forum.

Ashelia:
I just checked forum root, and my htaccess file doesn't have a . in its name. Is this relevant? It looks inactive or something.

(I did try to rename it but that suddenly gave me 500 Database Error)

Was there a htaccess file included in the package? I can't see any

No but the mod tries to create one which is required.
