It's nothing to do with the simple nature at all. It's because their platform does something different with mobile devices. Like using mobile-specific advertising code.

(it would have been nice if you'd actually said this is what you were trying to achieve, as opposed to sounding like you want to copy them like everyone else)

Now you get me...What is the best way I can achieve this, as someone who's just starting out, without the knowledge of programming?

@Ricky  Aside from the wap site, is there no way I can make the web version display Adsense ads on mobile devices? Or can I make mobile devices detect the wap version somehow?

Arantor:
I now get you because you've actually explained what you're trying to do, rather than being on some random tangent.

So, to be clear, we're talking about putting ads on mobile phones, and nothing at all to do with messing around with the layout of the site?

What kind of phones are we talking about? Are you planning to put ads on the main site for regular users too?

cliFinc:
Yes...let's concentrate on making the website display Adsense on mobile phones. I want all mobile phones to display ads on the site if that's possible. I will place on the regular site for normal users too.

Let me bother about removing the tables and creating links later : ;)

No one interested in offering help on this topic anymore. I still need much of it people  :(

Arantor:
I had left this tab open to come back to it, because I do have other things to do instead of just sitting here answering questions all day for free in my so-called spare time.

What kinds of ads are we talking about? Are you managing your own ads or using something like Adsense? If you're using Adsense, you might want to take some time to read up on Adsense for Mobile, which does actually cover this very issue.
