Customizing SMF > Graphics and Templates

Easy templates?

I haven't upgraded to SMF yet, although I really want to (and need to in order to do what I want to do), because the only way I know how to successfully make a template is to make it for YaBB SE and upgrade. But I may need to update my template frequently.
My question: Has anyone made a script that just converts templates? If not, would that be too difficult?
(Note that I can't just edit the PHP code, because I'm using a WYSIWYG editor. That's why the <YABB MAIN> tags worked so well for me ...)

I'm not sure but I believe that on the downloads -> tools & converters page that there may be a script that can convert the template (I'm too lazy to check - there is one though).

I looked, and I didn't see any template converter there. There only seem to be converters for other board software.
I know the YaBBSE->SMF converter converts templates, so is there a way I can edit the PHP to just convert templates, so I don't have to have a full install of YaBBSE just to make a template? (I'm not that PHP-literate yet)
