XHIBIT911:
This will be my 3rd inquiry FYI.
The initial one being on your site which is sooooo user unfriendly that just to register an account there I had to answer a question that was in FRENCH.
2ndly perhaps it may not strike you as being out of the ordinary when a great deal of support questions from new or 1st time users to your forums all start with, "Excuse me if I have posted this in the wrong place but I couldn't find".... to the average person that indicates the site is hard to manuver thru. And after your initial nasty post yes I called you a prick because I have no issues dishing out ugliness when confronted with it. So if you posted the answer, then assumed I stayed around to be further insulted due to something as simple as posting a support question in a forum that is very much user unfriendly, its pretty simple..I DIDN'T bother going back.

In any event thank you for the tip...and in the future you may want to keep in mind you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Arantor:
Well, considering that Nao's site is almost entirely French - and it's only the Aeva bit that isn't - it's not really a surprise that the question's in French given that Aeva is no longer supported by him. As for posting on Wedge, that was even more confusing as we never made a great deal of surprise about the fact that we weren't offering support to anything SMF related.

Actually, I was more offended that you called me French rather than being called a prick but I think looking back you might be able to see why I reacted as I did, especially after the fact that you did get your question answered by multiple people.

And in the future you may want to read things that are around before posting, like the big notices saying 'No support'...

In any case, here's the sequence of events.
http://wedge.org/pub/plugins/7210/aeva-sub-sub-albums/msg275088/#msg275088 - you posted on Wedge, I answered you, there were a few interesting comments.

Then you posted on http://aeva.noisen.com/6385/bug-aeva-media-1-4w-on-2-0-fresh-install/msg256548/#msg256548 even though your question had already been answered on Wedge, leading to my calling you out frustratedly (and where it's even more clear that there's no Aeva support)

Small wonder you got people being unfriendly to you when you didn't even have the patience or courtesy to do any kind of reading of what was going on around you...

FrizzleFried:
I was wondering why Illori went and started another SMF support site...  I now know my answer.

Kindred:
rotfl...   you know, Arantor might be a prick  :-*, but he usually will at least answer the question.'
(and, as already pointed out, Nao is French. His site is French. I'm sure that the French users don't find it unfriendly... :P )
So, if you did not go back to see the answers to your question, then it's your own fault...

Not sure what you mean, Frizzle...   Arantor is not a member of the SMF support team and is providing answers for a product which the author has (multiple times) stated is no longer being supported. We continue to offer it here on SMF because it is an awesome piece of work and usually requires only minimal support which can be provided by other, experienced users (except in cases where the individual either does not pay attention or is trying to make it do something which it is not intended to do)

If you truly are looking for an answer to this question:

I'm new here.  I'm also pretty thick skinned so not much bothers me.  That said,  not everyone is the same.  I have seen numerous examples on this forum where people who are absolutely new at this are treated like ****** by some of the veterans.   Perhaps (and likely) not official SMF Support Staff,   but some of the veteran user base.  It happens.  I know this.  But i've NEVER seen it discouraged by moderators which turns off some (especially the newbs) with thinner skins or those not familiar with typical forum banter.  Bottom line - It can be intimidating to post questions here by SOME due to some impatient long-timers who've probably answered the same question 1000 times before and (for example) knee-jerk with a "do a search n00b" type response.

That's about all I was saying.
